Doraville Kiwanis Present - "Celebrating our Veterans" Series

On Thursday, November 11, 2010, the Doraville Kiwanis are presenting a special program with speaker Josh Batchelder.  Josh is a Vietnam Veteran and Retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel.

From the Kiwanis flyer:  "Mr. Batchelder will capture for you a love of flying and the triumphs and tragedies experienced flying the all-weather Jet Interceptor Defense Mission of the 1950's-60's Cold War. He has written a fascinating story of this time in his book The Black Watch Diary.  He has logged over 5,000 hours of flying and has 30 years of AF service and flew world-wide missions for over 10 years including several to Vietnam with the 116th Military Airlift Wing of the Georgia National Guard."

Come join the Doraville Kiwanis on Thursday, November 11th at the Doraville Civic Center from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
